Not being meant, without the scent…

Walking down the highway
You sleep on the lawn out of the way
Chasing your route, I came onto the alleyway
Our love moving from us away, far away.

The trees by the side of the lake
You came with a love of pack
I adored you without a knack
Love started and ended with just a smack.

The fields in the small village
I saw you again in my college
You were there for a perfect marriage
Why, my life a desert and my love still a mirage?

The sunrays falling in the east
You are lost deep in the mist
I still hope for a destiny with a tryst
Our love became a tale without a twist.

Rains in the causeway
I’m still thirsty on the driveway
You drenched yourself in a nice way
But our love dried and died in many ways.

The streams flowing down the forest
I will love you like the sea with crests
You will be missed in my life, of the rest
Our love story will be alive as one of the best.

The life for a rent
I lived without being meant
You didn’t even left a bit of scent
Love lived only in dreams as a tenant.

Life goes on like never ending
You never got a heart for a lending
I lived on and kept on sending
Our Love really never got a good mending.
